REDD is looking for a dynamic reporter to join the London team to cover CEEMEA Requirements: Bachelors degree. At least 5 years of work experience financial journalism. Significant knowledge of financial markets and financial instruments, especially debt markets. Fluency in Russian/Ukrainian/Polish/Turkish or Arabic highly desirable. Responsibilities: Build long lasting relationships within the financial community within CEEMEA. Write one story per day on CEEMEA companies covered by REDD. Further develop relationship with fund managers, traders, bankers, analysts, law firms, and financial advisors. Ability to work well with a team of reporters. Many stories are collaborations. Ability to prepare for interviews and get information quickly from traders and other professionals short on time. Review content on reports done by the Research team. Attend conferences and networking events.

CEEMEA Research Analyst (London)

REDD is looking for a proactive Research Analyst. Duties include: Perform in-depth company and industry analysis and research, managing independent research projects as required. Analyze and integrate industry trends into actionable report ideas, gathering relevant data as appropriate. Incorporate macroeconomic analysis into research reports when necessary. Monitor CEEMEA corporate fixed income instruments. Calculate and verify accuracy of financial information on CEEMEA companies (including balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows) and corporate information (ownership, corporate structure). Analyze terms of corporate bond issuances. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field. Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to perform company, industry and economic analysis. Proficiency in Excel. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are a must. Strong communication skills. A high level of English is mandatory.

REDD is looking for freelance reporters (stringers) to help lead its expansion into Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Turkey. We are looking for reporters to cover corporates and sovereigns for the following three beats: • Russia, Central Asia, Central and Eastern Europe • Middle East, North Africa and Turkey • Sub-Saharan Africa We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, either as freelancers or staff reporters, with sound knowledge of financial markets and financial instruments, especially debt markets. Fluency in relevant local languages is highly desirable, fluency in English is essential. Duties will include the monitoring of local and international press, stock exchange announcements, rating agency releases, government and corporate press releases etc., and writing up (aggregating) relevant news in a credit-focussed form suitable for REDD’s subscribers. REDD is looking for an Assistant Editor with strong Asia loan market reporting skills. We would favour a candidate with experience covering the Asia loan market (primary and secondary market, workouts) and strongly encourage candidates with banking or buyside publishing experience (such as credit analysts) to apply. Requirements: Strong knowledge of regional credit market with an emphasis on loans. Solid base of offshore and onshore contacts in the region (local banks, government, corporates, investment banks, asset managers, legal and financial advisers). Contacts in the loan market (origination, syndication, trading, and workout groups). Familiarity with financial statements. Proficiency in at least one Asian language, such as Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia, is preferred. Superior English language writing and editing skills. A go-getter with the proven ability to lead. The ability to produce and manage workflow under strict deadlines. At least seven years’ experience. Clearance for work in Singapore.
